
KONE Strengthens Market Position in Hawaii Through the Acquisition of Akamai Elevator
LISLE, Ill., April 2 /PRNewswire/ -- KONE has acquired the assets of Akamai Elevator Company, an independent elevator service entity based in Honolulu, Hawaii. This further strengthens KONE's position in the Hawaiian market. Akamai Elevator has earned a solid reputation for delivering excellent work in all aspects of their service business including maintenance, repair and modernization.

KONE will absorb Akamai's elevator operations under the KONE name in April.
