Konica Minolta Sensing Americas to Showcase Innovative Light Measurement Solutions at LIGHTFAIR International 2014

RAMSEY, N.J., May 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Konica Minolta Sensing Americas (KMSA), provider of advanced optical technology that precisely measures the elements of color and light, today announced participation as an exhibitor at LIGHTFAIR International (LFI) to be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, June 3-5, 2014 (booth 2137).  

At this year's event, the company will focus on new OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) technology measurement commonly used in lighting fixtures and related applications. The CL-500A Illuminance Spectrophotometer is the company's latest product offering. The CL-500A joins Konica Minolta's legendary line of illuminance meters. This includes the T-10A Illuminance Meter and CL-200A Chroma Meter, both of which have been labeled the meters of choice by lighting professionals.

The CL-500A is a handheld device which can measure the general color rendering index (CRI), as well as individual color rendering indexes R1-R15 and the Scoptopic-Photopic (S/P) ratio. The device can be used as a standalone product in the field or in the lab, and can also be used in conjunction with data management software. The CL-500A is the first compact illuminance spectrophotometer to conform to both DIN and JIS standards. This ensures that the instrument provides the highest measurement accuracy.

An innovative array of LED and OLED technology will be on-hand at KMSA's booth including Konica Minolta Advanced Layers Company flexible OLED lighting panels and Instrument Systems CAS 140CT Array Spectrometer.
