Korean Silicon Valley; 'Smart Content Center' on display at CES Showstoppers press event
LAS VEGAS and SEOUL, South Korea, Jan. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- This year Showstoppers hosted two events in conjunction with CES. At the Showstoppers press event itself many exhibitors and interesting innovations were on display, and Korean Silicon Valley, 'Smart Content Center' was also present at Showstoppers.
The content industry has been emerging as a key business in the Korean economy. Smart Content Center, especially, is taking a role as the main hub. The Korean government has made a sustained effort to activate the industry.
As a part of the efforts to help the startups in overseas expansion, the Smart Content Center selected five promising startups and participated in the world's biggest fair for electronic products - CES 2014.
The Smart Content Center was established in May 2012 and now includes around 50 different technology startups. The Smart Content Center is supporting them in all aspects from their plans & development to their international business so that they can successfully enter the global market.
The companies that participated at CES Showstoppers are, 'Pison contents'; provider of the first Korean global online music distribution platform 'MusicSpray', 'Hisshow'; provider of a bible animation 'Hisshowbible', 'Publstdio'; provider of an educational interactive appbook, 'Kamon Ltd'; filming system developer of 360 Degree Movie, 'CODELINE'; developer of 'easy&elly'.
Those startups effectively showed off themselves at the event and caught attentions of many attendees.
