
QUERÉTARO, Mexico, Oct. 24, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- KOSTAL today cut the ribbon on its newest production facility in North America, a new 20,000-square-meter plant in the FINSA III Industrial Park. The project was completed in less than 12 months and will be the first manufacturing facility for production of power electronic components for electric vehicles in North America.
The advanced plant with focus on clean and sustainable operations is KOSTAL's fourth manufacturing site in Mexico and the first in North America to produce automotive power electronics, including On-Board Chargers (OBC) for electric vehicles, creating 750 new jobs in the region.

KOSTAL also invited local and state authorities, such as Mr. Mauricio Kuri González, Governor of the State of Queretaro; Mr. Marco Antonio del Prete Tercero, Ministry for Sustainable Development of the State of Querétaro; and Ms. Liliana San Martín Castillo, Head of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare of the State of Queretaro, among other dignitaries.
