Kraton to Showcase Specialty Polymers at Chinaplas
HOUSTON and SHANGHAI, April 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Kraton Performance Polymers, Inc. (NYSE: KRA), a leading global producer of styrenic block copolymers, engineered polymers and chemicals derived from pine wood pulping co-products, will host a booth N1C61 at Chinaplas, held April 25-28, 2016 in Shanghai, China. The booth product showcase will include technologies for specialty adhesives, automotive soft skins, polymer modification, Cariflex™ polyisoprene products, and medical applications and compounding solutions.
Kraton scientists will give two technical presentations on Tuesday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Dr. Jensy Gu will present on new Kraton® SEBS polymers. Focuses will be on MD1653, a high flow pellet version of G1652 for demanding applications in coating, sealant, polymer modification and compounding. Several newly developed innovative Kraton® ERS SEBS and Kraton® A polymers will also be introduced with their potential applications. Dr. Julie Li will present the paper "Kraton TPE Solution for Automotive Applications," which introduces the latest technology and development of Kraton SEBS polymers for automotive interior and exterior applications. Chinaplas is an excellent platform for Kraton to promote its expanding global footprint, which includes construction of the new HSBC Mailiao Plant in Taiwan.
