PITTSBURGH, Oct. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Kroff, Inc., one of the fastest-growing water treatment companies in the United States, has formed a strategic partnership with Hibrett Puratex to provide customers with an innovative hands-free chemical delivery system. Hibrett Puratex is a multi-discipline chemical blender and distributor of commodity and specialty chemicals and allied products. The unique partnership will enable Kroff Chemical Company, Inc., a division of Kroff, Inc., to deliver advanced proprietary chemical blends to customer sites without the customer participating in any aspect of the delivery.
"In today's marketplace, customers do not want the responsibility of handling chemicals or disposing of chemical containers," said Don Tomovich, eastern regional sales manager of Kroff Chemical Company, Inc. "Our partnership with Hibrett Puratex taps into more than 100 years of experience in the chemical market. Hibrett Puratex's highly-skilled drivers are experts in the delivery of chemicals to a wide range of markets."
For the commercial, institutional, and industrial marketplaces, Kroff, Inc. can now deliver chemicals in any size container to on-site bulk tanks that feed directly into the boiler or other chemically treated water systems. This eliminates any on-site handling of chemicals by the client's employees. Once the chemicals are transferred, Kroff, Inc. will take away empty containers that were conventionally left behind. The bottom-line value to customers is realized in increased personnel safety and environmental compliance. As a pilot program, hands-free delivery has been in service since November 2009, providing a number of hospitals, universities, office buildings and government facilities with a viable alternative to conventional chemical delivery.
