Kronos Foods Strikes Licensing Deal With Meyer Family Farms To Produce, Distribute And Private Label Pomegranate Arils & Product
GLENDALE HEIGHTS, Ill., Dec. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Capitalizing on the continued growth and popularity of antioxidant super fruit pomegranates, Kronos Foods (www.kronosfoodsinc.com) and Meyer Family Farms have signed a licensing agreement for Kronos to market, sell and distribute frozen pomegranate arils. The announcement was made by Howard Eirinberg, chief executive officer of Kronos Foods.
The agreement expands the availability of nutrient-dense pomegranate arils, now typically available only seasonally, to a year round basis for sale at retail and use by foodservice professionals and the culinary community. As part of the agreement, Kronos will sell organic and non-organic arils to supermarkets, specialty grocers, club and foodservice customers in the United States under the Perfect Gems™ brand name, as well as under private labels for retailers interested in marketing the fruit to consumers.

- 7 oz. pomegranate arils, perfect for snacking, salads and desserts;
- 9.5 oz. blueberry and pomegranate aril blend, combining two of the leading anti-oxidants in a blend for dessert topping or smoothies
- 26 oz. bulk pomegranate arils for club stores
- 26 oz. bulk organic pomegranate arils for club stores
- 5 lb. bulk pomegranate arils for food service
