KUKA launches new KUKA Marketplace and KUKA Connect - the next steps for digital business transformation

For initial launch, the first products available for purchase through the KUKA Marketplace are KUKA Connect and KUKA College Training courses. Additional KUKA products and services will be made available for customers to shop on-demand in the near future.

Focused on digital business transformation, the KUKA Marketplace allows customers to acquire KUKA's newest zero-touch IoT solution for smart manufacturing – KUKA Connect.

KUKA Connect is a cloud-based software platform that provides users access and analytics of their KUKA robots at any time and on any device. With KUKA Connect, customers are able to bring products to market faster, adapt to regulatory requirements, increase efficiency, and most importantly, rapidly innovate.

Starting today, customers in the U.S., Germany, Canada, U.K., Ireland, Austria and France can subscribe to KUKA Connect by visiting the KUKA Marketplace. Scheduled for later this year, KUKA Connect will be available globally and provide support for additional languages.

Built on open global standards, KUKA Connect uses big data analytics and the newest Fog Computing platform to provide customers maximum visibility into their connected KUKA robots.

In collaboration with Nebbiolo Technologies, KUKA Connect leverages a fogNodeä edge computing device that enables end-to-end application capabilities to securely discover, communicate and transfer robot data to the cloud.

KUKA Connect is a subscription-based platform that requires zero software installation and provides customers immediate access to new features and functionalities. Strategically developed to evolve, the KUKA Connect platform will continually host new services to provide insight and support for additional KUKA devices.

KUKA Connect is available in two tiers of service: KUKA Connect Lite and KUKA Connect Plus.

With KUKA Connect Lite, users have free access to asset information management features for supported functionality of KUKA robots.

By upgrading to KUKA Connect Plus, users unlock additional asset information management features and full accessibility of the KUKA Connect platform, including real-time notifications and exportable reports.
