A graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, Kurt Schumacher has been counseling individuals and families on wealth preservation and transfer for over a decade and a half.  Beginning his career in Boston, Kurt was an estate planning attorney for the Private Client Group of Ropes and Gray LLP before moving to Greenville where he joined Leatherwood Walker Todd & Mann, P.C. (now Smith Moore Leatherwood).  In 2008 he opened his own firm, Schumacher Law, LLC.

As an estate planning attorney, Kurt has had a long and successful career focused on estate planning and settlement, asset protection, business succession planning, and trust administration.  At Global View Investment Advisors, Kurt will work with clients along with their tax and legal advisors to create strategies that combine prudent investing with thoughtful wealth transfer techniques.
