ASHBURN, Va., Jan. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Brainware, Inc., an innovative provider of intelligent data capture and enterprise search solutions, today announced that Kuwait Petroleum in North West Europe (Q8) has selected the company's Brainware Distiller(TM) solution for the processing of invoices from its fuel and service stations throughout Europe. This solution displaces a less integrated document capture product.
Q8 will leverage Brainware's intelligent data capture solution to automatically extract and validate complex header and line-item data from invoices in six different languages: English, French, Dutch, German, Polish and Czech. Brainware Distiller also seamlessly integrates with Q8's existing SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and will enable Q8 to access real-time key performance indicators pertaining to suppliers and related invoices.
Q8 decided to implement Brainware Distiller after facing challenges with its previous document processing solution. "We were only able to achieve low rates of extraction from our prior invoice processing solution, which resulted in too much manual correction of invoices and also required significant resources to manage templates," said Johan Innegraeve, director of finance and IT for Q8. "After conducting a proof of concept with Brainware, we recognized that Brainware's Distiller solution required far less reliance on our technical staff and also provided exceptionally high extractions rates right out of the box that will enable us to truly automate our invoice processing."
