Free Chiliburgers are a Good Bet at this Las Vegas Grand Opening Celebration
MONROVIA, Calif., Nov. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Original Tommy's located at 7079 W. Craig Road in Las Vegas, Nevada is having their official grand opening celebration Friday, Dec. 6th from 10am to 1pm. Craig Road marks the chain's 2nd Las Vegas location and the 3rd in Nevada.

The family-owned chain's first venture outside of California opened in Henderson, Nevada at 3009 St. Rose Pkwy. January of 2008. Henderson's success along with Tommy's realizing a real love for the locals made a second Nevada location inevitable for the chain. Less than a year later Tommy's first Las Vegas location opened at 5208 Boulder Hwy. and almost immediately plans were in the works for the newest location at Craig & the 95.
It was 67 years ago that Tommy Koulax first introduced his chili-topped hamburger sensation in Los Angeles and now with 35 total locations throughout Southern California and Nevada the love affair remains strong.
"When Craig Road first opened their doors in late September, we expected a soft opening," said Robert Castaneda, VP of Operations "It has been anything but soft. This location is right off the 95 Freeway and easy to see so we immediately opened to a big crowd, and business has been continuous since."
Tommy's is committed to reciprocating the overwhelming welcome they have received from Las Vegas at this grand opening. Over 1000 VIP free meal grand opening invitations will be handed out in the surrounding area plus invitation postcards offering a "FREE Cheeseburger with any purchase" are being direct mailed to thousands of local residents. At the event, the first 250 plus guests will hit the jackpot receiving a VIP Meal Offer. In addition, all distributed offers are good on the day of the grand opening through the end of January 2014. "We want to thank all of our guests in the area whether they are able to attend the grand opening or not," said Castaneda.
This grand opening is sure to be a memorable Tommy's style event with Tommy's Promo Van on site giving away all kinds of FREE stuff and Tommy's Prize Wheel will be spinning for the entire three hours so guests can win food, t-shirts, hats and more.
The official ribbon cutting with the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce is scheduled for 10:00am and immediately following is Tommy's cake cutting. Cindi Koulax, Tommy's daughter has contracted Lindsey Sinatra, owner of A Wish and a Whisk Custom Cake Studio to provide the dessert for this affair.
