La Habra Community Collaborative Hires Sandi Baltes as Executive Director
LA HABRA, Calif., April 5, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- La Habra Community Collaborative has hired part-time Executive Director, Sandi Baltes.
In her role, as executive director, Baltes will be responsible for improving the opportunities for collaboration among the variety of charitable and non-profit groups in La Habra. "This is a city that has tremendous support for its residents," said Baltes. "My goal is to support the various organizations in streamlining their communication and efforts, so that we can maximize opportunities and create greater value for the community."
As the former principal at Las Positas Elementary School, Baltes brings to the La Habra Community Collaborative more than 25 years of leadership and teaching experience. In addition to her new role, Baltes serves as an active board member for the La Habra City School district and five other organizations within the City of La Habra. Baltes holds a Bachelor's degree in English and has a Master's degree in Educational Administration, as well as Governance.
La Habra Community Collaborative is a volunteer group whose mission is to empower individuals and families to be self-sufficient and healthy, and to create opportunities for an improved quality of life for all La Habra residents.
