LABS, Inc. Names Ray W. Swanson President and CEO

CENTENNIAL, Colo., Oct. 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- LABS, Inc., a global, full-service testing laboratory with more than 30 years of expertise in regulated testing for human organs, cells, tissues and implantable biologic products and devices, announced today the appointment of Ray W. Swanson as its President and Chief Executive Officer.

Swanson has served in CEO and general management roles in both public and privately held growth companies focused on clinical diagnostics, medical technology and laboratory services including Centice Corporation, TriPath Imaging, Inc., Baxter International,  Dade Behring and most recently Viracor-IBT Laboratories.  Swanson has B.S. and M.S. degrees in zoology from Eastern Illinois University and an MBA from the University of Iowa.
