Lady Gaga to Invade Chicago! Miss Illinois and Miss Chicago Host Pre-Party for Thousands at Downtown Pizzeria for Superstar's Homecoming Lollapalooza Concert and Region's Largest Look-A-Like Contest

CHICAGO, Aug. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- In 2007, a brunette Lady Gaga, then relatively unknown, wowed thousands of Lollapalooza attendees with a knockout performance.  Three years later, the superstar is headlining the festival – returning to the venue that launched her career with a bigger stage, more outlandish theatrics, and a scrupulously helmed image as America's leading performance artist.  Almost 20 years after its inception, Lollapalooza has propelled dozens of singers and bands to celebrity, but Lady Gaga is arguably the festival's greatest success to date and the biggest name in pop music today. In honor of the Lady's homecoming, JZ Drizin of Pizza Packet is sponsoring the world's largest Lady Gaga look-a-like contest on August 5 at 2:00 PM at State Street Pizza, 400 North State Street. in Chicago, IL, which will be hosted by Miss Illinois (Whitney Thorpe Klinsky) and Miss Chicago (April Strong)  of the Miss America organization.  Thousands of slices of free pizza donated by a local will be given out to participants and spectators by a local pizzeria.  The sold-out concert promises to be packed to the brim with the worldwide phenomenon's most dedicated fans, many of whom emulate the singer's avant-garde style.  Pizza Packet is inviting Lady Gaga's fans to present their best imitation of the star's one-of-a-kind look – and the winner will receive coveted tickets to Lollapalooza.

Free pizza has been a tradition started by Lady Gaga several years ago.  The superstar has provided free pizza slices for hungry fans waiting for her appearances and concerts world wide.  The Pizza Packet Organization has volunteered to keep the kind gesture alive by organizing and sponsoring free pizza concert tailgate parties in local cities across the country. The pizza in Chicago is being donated by State Street Pizza as a public service to Lady Gaga and pizza lovers.
