Lakeside Software Names Brinton E. Baker as Chief Marketing Officer

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., Sept. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Lakeside Software, a leader in business intelligence solutions for IT professionals, today announced that Brinton E. Baker has joined the firm as its top marketing executive, effective immediately.  A recognized global strategist with deep industry expertise, Mr. Baker has been named vice president of marketing and chief marketing officer and will oversee all aspects of the firm's marketing and product management initiatives in its domestic and international markets.  In his new role, he reports to Michael Schumacher, president and CEO of Lakeside Software, and is a member of Lakeside's executive management team.

In previous senior marketing and product management roles at leading technology companies including Apple, Oracle, NEC, Motorola and CompuServe, Brinton Baker has been instrumental in the design, development and introduction of innovative products that opened new markets.  Mr. Baker started his career as an award-winning software engineer at Data General.
