TAMPA, Fla., April 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Lancet Indemnity RRG, Inc. has announced an 18% increase in written premiums through the end of the first quarter of 2012 compared to the previous year. This continued an upward trend for the company as they grew 52% in 2011. Anthony Maniscalco, the Chief Operating Officer of Lancet believes this will continue. "We've experience great growth but we haven't even scratched the surface of the market," said Maniscalco. "We are writing business in 13 states but until we have a major presence in each our job isn't done." Maniscalco believes the company will see growth equal to if not more than they did in 2011.
Lancet is hoping one key to increasing its growth will be the addition of Brian Menendez to their team. The company recently brought Menendez on to lead its business development and marketing division. "We feel we have an opportunity to keep growing, especially in Florida where the majority of our business is written," said Menendez. "All physicians are looking for ways to save on insurance costs and we are able to help with that."
Prior to joining Lancet, Menendez worked for Westview Financial Group, an independent insurance firm specializing in advanced case design for life insurance cases. He also brings an education background that includes a double major in Risk Management/Insurance and Finance from Florida State University.
