Lancope Continues Record Growth and Market Leadership in 2012

ATLANTA, Jan. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Lancope, Inc., a leader in network visibility and security intelligence, experienced another banner year of growth in 2012 by nearly doubling transaction volume and adding 43 new associates worldwide. According to a recent report by Gartner, Lancope is the leader in the network behavior analysis (NBA) market, with approximately 40 percent market share. Alongside achieving its 17^th consecutive quarter of profitability, the company also continued to invest heavily in talent and resources to further fuel research and development as well as sales and marketing.

Throughout 2012, Lancope executed more than 200 new customer and network expansion agreements, and realized a 95 percent customer retention rate as measured in maintenance renewals. The company closed agreements that surpassed one million dollars each quarter, and signed the largest initial order in Lancope's history at just under three million dollars. Today, hundreds of Lancope customers worldwide, including Comcast, the American Cancer Society and Saudi Post are capitalizing on the ability to achieve a 259 percent return on investment (ROI) from StealthWatch as measured in a three-year cycle.
