Study results were gathered through due diligence and a series of five in-depth interviews with an existing Lancope customer. According to the study, "In the past, when the [interviewed] organization had a security incident, a cross-functional team consisting of security, networking, desktop support, and the help desk worked together to resolve the issue. Depending on the scale of an issue, these groups would be involved for three to five 10-hour days to address the issue. After the deployment of StealthWatch, this cross-functional team is able to leverage the solution to address most incidents within a couple of hours."

The study also reveals that StealthWatch was implemented not only by the organization's security team, but also its networking group. "Prior to using Lancope, the networking team was using an alternative network performance management solution," it states. "StealthWatch was more robust than this solution and offered a greater level of detail when troubleshooting network issues."
