Lane42 Also Adds Two New Principals to Build Out Investment Team

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Aug. 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Lane42 Investment Partners, LLC ("Lane42" or "the Firm"), an alternative investment firm focused on public and private markets opportunities across asset classes, today announced the addition of two Partners to strengthen the Firm's senior leadership and investment expertise. 

The new Partners at Lane42 include:

• Victoria Aparece, Partner and Head of Marketing and Investor Relations, most recently with Centerbridge Partners, where she oversaw marketing and fundraising efforts for West Coast relationships.
• David Farber, Partner and Investment Committee Member, most recently with Santander, where he was Managing Director and Leveraged Finance Group Head.

Along with the additions of these Partners, Lane42 also announced two new Principals: David Franks and Benjamin Schneider.

Since its founding in March 2025, Lane42 has continued to build out its team of accomplished professionals, with decades of experience to deliver new opportunities across public and private markets. The Firm now has 15 investment professionals and 23 professionals overall.

Victoria Aparece

Ms. Aparece is a Partner and Head of Marketing and Investor Relations at Lane42, based in the Santa Monica office. Previously, Ms. Aparece served as a Managing Director at Centerbridge Partners, a $42 billion AUM global alternative investment manager, where she oversaw marketing and fundraising efforts for West Coast relationships. Prior to joining Centerbridge, she held senior roles at Angelo Gordon and Ares Management. Ms. Aparece began her career at J.P. Morgan and spent nearly 15 years in both the New York and Los Angeles offices in various investment and commercial banking roles in Syndicated and Leveraged Finance, Equity Capital Markets, and the Entertainment Industries Group.

Ms. Aparece received an A.B. degree in Classics, summa cum laude, from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Columbia University. She currently serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles.

David Farber

David Farber is a Partner at Lane42, based in the New York office. Previously, Mr. Farber was a Managing Director and Leveraged Finance Group Head at Santander, where he was a founding member within the Markets division. In that role, he oversaw investments within primary and secondary loan origination, high-yield, and special situations. Earlier in his career, Mr. Farber was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse, where he served on both the Investment Committee and the Managing Director Global Committee within U.S. Credit Trading.

Mr. Farber graduated as a Presidential Scholar, magna cum laude, from Lehigh University with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies.

David Franks is a Principal at Lane42, based in the Santa Monica office. Prior to joining Lane42, Mr. Franks was a Vice President at Francisco Partners, where he led control and non-control investments across a range of Technology subsectors and was actively involved in portfolio company management. Prior thereto, Mr. Franks worked as an Associate at Clearlake Capital Group, where he evaluated credit and equity opportunities across Technology and Industrial subsectors. Mr. Franks started his career as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs & Co.

Mr. Franks holds an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business and graduated cum laude from Harvard College with a B.A. in Economics.

Benjamin Schneider is a Principal at Lane42, based in the New York office. Prior to joining Lane42, Mr. Schneider worked at PSP Investments as a Director on the Credit Investments team, where he focused on special situations and rescue finance opportunities. Prior thereto, Mr. Schneider was an Associate at Blackstone, where he concentrated on both corporate and structured credit opportunities.

Mr. Schneider graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Duke University with a B.S. in Economics.
