Todd Blue and LAPIS bring a long-term commitment to Porsche, luxury automotive retail and the Northern California community
LIVERMORE, Calif., Aug. 31, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- LAPIS, the privately held automotive group led by CEO and Dealer Principal Todd Blue, today celebrated the grand opening of Porsche Livermore, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the iconic Porsche brand in California's Tri-Valley region.
The grand opening brought together Porsche executives, community and business leaders, Porsche enthusiasts, customers and special guests for an evening celebrating the heritage, performance and future of Porsche.
For Blue, the opening represents more than a new investment. It marks a meaningful return to a brand that has played an important role throughout his automotive career. Blue acquired Porsche Livermore in March 2026, returning to the Porsche brand after beginning his dealership career with Porsche in North Houston.

The opening of Porsche Livermore represents part of LAPIS's broader investment in Northern California and its commitment to building long-term relationships within the surrounding communities it serves, like Blackhawk, Pleasanton, Danville, Diablo, Dublin and Tracy.
LAPIS currently operates six dealerships across California and Arizona, including Porsche Livermore, Ferrari of Rancho Mirage, Audi Livermore, Land Rover Livermore, Livermore Honda and Mercedes-Benz of Northern Arizona. The grand opening featured a collection of significant Porsche automobiles representing different eras of the marque's history. Among the vehicles showcased were rare and historically significant models, including the Porsche 916, Porshce 918, Porsche 959, Porsche 964 RS and Porsche 904, as well as additional heritage vehicles presented in partnership with Porsche Cars North America.
The evening also highlighted Porsche's evolution into its next generation of performance and electrification, including the Cayenne Electric.
The juxtaposition of historic and contemporary Porsche vehicles reflected the central philosophy behind the new Porsche Livermore: honor the past while embracing what comes next.

Porsche Leadership Joins the Celebration
The grand opening was attended by senior Porsche Cars North America leadership, including Timo Resch, President and CEO, and John Cappella, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
The brand also earned the top overall position in the 2026 J.D. Power U.S. Initial Quality Study, while the Porsche 911 was recognized as the highest-ranked overall model in the study's sporty-car category.
