
NEW YORK, July 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Appinions Inc., which delivers an opinions-powered platform to identify, analyze and engage with influencers, announced today that Larry Kramer has joined its board of directors.

An adjunct professor of media management at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, Kramer founded MarketWatch, Inc., which was sold to Dow Jones for $528 million in January 2005.
Kramer was also the first president of CBS Digital Media, which during his leadership launched or re-launched CBS.com, CBSNews.com, CBS SportsLine.com and StarTrek.com and serves on several media company boards, including Discovery Communications, American Media, Freedom Communications, BlackArrow, Inc. and Harvard Business Publishing. He is the author of a recent book on the changing media landscape: C-Scape: Conquer The Forces Changing Business Today (HarperCollins).
