He served as an official adviser to the USDA during the development of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) Food Safety Regulation and on issues relating to Food Imports and Transportation. He is the author of numerous scientific publications, books & articles on Food Safety & Environmental Controls. Marsden joined Chipotle in 2016 as the company's Executive Director of Food and Environmental Safety and was responsible for directing their food and environment safety programs and continues to serve on the company's Advisory Council.
