Latitude Global Announces Expansion of Luxury Venue Brand With Latitude 39 Located in Indianapolis, IN
70,000-sq.-ft. facility to feature boutique bowling, The Sunset 30 Tavern & Grill, The Indy Lap bar with stage, sports-theater, game room, dinner-cinema and Vegas-style showroom
INDIANAPOLIS, April 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Indianapolis residents will soon have the city's first all-inclusive entertainment venue in which to spend their leisure hours, according to Brent Brown, CEO of Latitude Global, the parent company of Latitude 39™, LLC.
Latitude Global announced today that they are creating a luxury entertainment destination in the city's dynamic Keystone Crossing area, renovating the former AMC Theater on East 82nd Street. The venue, named Latitude 39™, will contain a variety of dining and recreational activities with state-of-the-art equipment and retro-modern style. Latitude 39™ will be the second entertainment venue to be built by Latitude Global, following the successful footsteps of their flagship location in Jacksonville, FL, Latitude 30 (http://www.Latitude-30.com).
The company's research indicates that the Indianapolis market has a pent-up demand for more entertainment choices than those the market currently offers.
"Latitude 39™ will present the most desirable entertainment options available in the country, including the latest in cutting-edge interactive games, boutique-style bowling lanes, an intimate movie cinema with food service, a spectacular main bar with dance floor, a sports-theater, a casual restaurant, Sunset 30 Tavern & Grill, and a Las Vegas-style showroom that can host well-known entertainers," Brown said.
Inspired by the most successful prototypes in Las Vegas, the venue's live-performance theater - named Latitude LIVE™ - is bringing this entertainment concept to Indianapolis. With its high-tech sound and light system, LED video wall, large stage and seating for 180, Latitude LIVE™ is clearly intended to be the city's premier venue for live entertainment. The showroom will feature a wide variety of performances, including live bands, comedy acts, magicians, hypnotists, mystery-themed dinner theater, "open-mic" nights and more. Guests can also choose from an eclectic selection of food and drink offerings while enjoying the show.
Another important factor in the creation of this entertainment destination is its thoughtful design, created to enhance the entertainment experience for guests. For example, the Sunset 30 Tavern & Grill™, Latitude 39's restaurant, includes a covered, outdoor patio with bar, fire pits, HD flat-screens and water features with a panoramic view of the White River.
"Latitude 39's unique exterior architecture and the arching and curving shapes of the floorplan contribute to the excitement," President Greg Garson said. "The interior details - from the rich colors, warm wood tones and weathered brick to the unique decor lighting and glowing glass panels - create a playful, contemporary feel that makes it easy for our guests to relax and enjoy all that Latitude 39™ has to offer."
The partners also believe that Latitude 39's "one-stop destination" concept is a powerful advantage, because it provides a way to satisfy all of the individual interests of a family or group of friends who want to spend time together.
"Currently, a night out or weekend get-together can involve driving from one place to another, making multiple stops, or trying to convince everyone to settle on the same choice," Brown said. "Latitude 39™ will provide the convenience of multiple leisure options in one destination - a huge, upscale venue that offers excellent entertainment value."
Latitude Global brought in industry consultants from around the country to advise them about each aspect of the facility, leaving no detail overlooked in their quest to provide their guests with every possible convenience and comfort.
The experts advised Latitude Global to include bowling as part of Latitude 39's array of choices. Recent research shows that the bowling has experienced a renaissance of interest, thanks to new "boutique bowling centers" that focus on a more contemporary setting, upscale dining, HD flat-screens and easy electronic scoring systems. And, surprisingly, the majority of the sport's participants are now much younger and more affluent.
"Bowling is a fun game that anyone can learn quickly, and the cost is far less than many other recreational sports," Garson added. "We are certain that the lanes at Latitude 39™ will be of interest not only to the occasional bowler but also to organizations and companies who want to form teams and leagues."
Both Garson and Brown emphasize that meticulous planning has been critical in the development of the project - an absolute necessity in a fluctuating economic market - but the partners are confident that the timing is right to launch Latitude 39 and its all-inclusive entertainment features.
"Our analysis shows that even in a soft market, people will take advantage of this type of high-quality venue," Brown said. "And, as the economy continues to improve, we'll already have our customer base firmly established."
