Latitude Solutions, Inc. Successfully Deploys its Electro Precipitation™, Integrated Water Systems™ Processing Unit to One of the World's Largest Oil/Gas Producers

BOCA RATON, Fla., Oct. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Latitude Solutions, Inc. ("LSI" or the "Company"), (trading symbol OTC: LATI) announced today that the Company's subsidiary, Latitude Energy Services, LLC, has deployed its proprietary Electro Precipitation™, Integrated Water Systems™ water remediation unit in support of a hydraulic fracturing operation in the Fayetteville Shale in Arkansas for one of the world's largest oil/gas producers. The IWS-630 mobile treatment unit successfully treated more than 60,000 barrels (2.5 million gallons) of contaminated flowback water, allowing it to be used as clean makeup water. The treatment was done in real time while the frac was underway and satisfied the client's requirements for bacterial kill as well as the removal of heavy metals and total suspended solids. The Company's proprietary technology does not require the use of any chemicals or any other additive to achieve these results.  Construction has been completed of four additional processing units which the Company expects to put into commercial operation in the near future.
