NEW YORK, July 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Legal-Bay LLC, The Lawsuit Settlement Funding Company, reports that a deadly railroad train crash occurred earlier this month in Queens, NY, when a Long Island Railroad train struck and killed two people on the tracks. The identities of the victims have not yet been released, according to Huffington Post, and it's unknown why the individuals were on the train tracks when they were struck. The man and woman who were killed in the train accident were struck at Hollis Station at 2:47am by a Long Island Railroad train. There were about 100 passengers on the train with no injuries reported. Unfortunately, this is not the only railroad accident, as train wrecks in New York, California and across the entire country have been more frequent as of late. Legal-Bay has been a leader of funding train accidents, as well as other accidents involving public transportation – including the Long Island Railroad, NYC Subways, or MTA bus accidents.
Patty Kirby, COO and Head of Client Relations, commented on the recent incident, "We are sad to hear of yet another tragic train accident in New York. Although the circumstances of this particular accident are unknown at this time, our office has been handling similar train, bus, subway, and taxi accident cases as of late in New York City, where plaintiffs are fighting their cases in the courts but need money now."
