LCA-Vision Announces Management Promotion

CINCINNATI, May 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- LCA-Vision Inc. (NASDAQ: LCAV), a leading provider of laser vision correction services under the LasikPlus® brand, announces the promotion of Marcello J. Celentano to the newly created position of Senior Vice President of Operations, effective May 1, 2011.  In his new role, Mr. Celentano will participate with LCA-Vision's executive leadership in setting the company's overall strategic direction in addition to directing all LasikPlus® vision center activities.

Mr. Celentano joined LCA-Vision in May 2008 as Vice President of Operations – East. In October 2009, he was promoted to Vice President of Operations and Patient Experience.  He has more than 20 years of leadership, sales and operational experience in multi-unit retail environments.  Prior to joining LCA-Vision, Mr. Celentano served as Managing Director, International Sales and Operations at FedEx Kinko's, and held various sales and operations positions at Enterprise Rent-A-Car.  Mr. Celentano holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Washington State University and is receiving an MBA from Babson College this month.
