Leaders of the Future Attend Kids 'R' Kids Schools

DULUTH, Ga., June 22, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Although they live over a thousand miles apart and have never met each other, what do five-year-old Orlando Gabino and thirteen-year-old Maddie Robinson have in common? Kids 'R' Kids! Orlando is on his way to becoming a philanthropist while Maddie has already begun an impressive career as an entrepreneur. Both give much of the credit for their accomplishments to the teachers and staff at the Kids 'R' Kids Schools of Quality Learning they attended. Orlando's Kids 'R' Kids School is in the north Atlanta suburb of Duluth and Maddie received her early childhood education at Kids 'R' Kids in the north Houston suburb of Tomball.

After April tornados devastated the lives and property of thousands of families in Alabama, Orlando asked his teacher what toys the children in those communities had to play with. When his teacher explained that they had no toys, Orlando said, "Well, we need to get them new toys!" He then proceeded to organize his class to bring new toys for the kids in Alabama, and his idea spread to the other ten classrooms at his Kids 'R' Kids school, which then spread to at least 20 other Kids 'R' Kids schools in the Atlanta area. Orlando's philanthropic actions resulted in a truck load of toys delivered for distribution at the Salvation Army warehouse in Birmingham, Alabama on June 4th. A future leader with a big heart and philanthropic vision was born out of that experience.

Another future leader, Maddie Robinson, gives partial credit for the recent launch of her company to the years she spent as a student at Kids 'R' Kids. During that time she was encouraged by her teachers to be creative and to use her imagination to realize her dreams. Maddie used her creativity by drawing sea creatures on an outline of her flip flops during a day at the beach. That was the genesis of her new line of footwear for children called FishFlops®, just released online (www.fishflops.com) and at retailers in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi, South Carolina, Texas and the Cayman Islands.

Orlando Gabino and Maddie Robinson represent many future leaders being educated at Kids 'R' Kids Schools throughout the US.
