Leading Edge Veterinary Equipment Joins Forces with Butler Schein, Donates Surgical Equipment to Big Dog Ranch Rescue

DENVER, Oct. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading Edge Veterinary Equipment, an exclusive international supplier of new veterinary medical equipment, joins forces with Butler Schein™ Animal Health - the U.S. Animal Health division of Henry Schein (NASDAQ: HSIC) to donate a complete surgical suite of veterinary equipment to the Big Dog Ranch Rescue, a unique no-kill dog rescue situated on 28 acres in Wellington, Florida. The Ranch was chosen by Designing Spaces, a Lifetime TV makeover show, as part of their "Spaces of Hope" series. The episode, which will air today, October 19, & December 27 at 7:30 a.m. ET/ 4:30 a.m. PT will focus on renovations to the Ranch's veterinary clinic and surgical suite.

The veterinary surgery equipment provided by Leading Edge allows the Veterinarian to perform comprehensive surgical procedures on-site. Previously, the Ranch had to transport animals to other facilities. With Leading Edge veterinary technology, the Ranch is now able to provide complete patient care and recovery, reducing clinical risk and stress for each dog.
