Leading Eyewear Retailer Magrabi Optical Arrives in Turkey

International eyewear brand Magrabi Optical has opened its first store in Akmerkez, İstanbul following the successful acquisition of Şişli Optik Ticaret A.Ş ('Sisli'). The completed transaction marks Magrabi Optical's first acquisition outside the MENA region and the start of a strategic initiative to expand into select emerging markets.  

Over time, the remaining 15 Sisli stores spread across 6 major cities will be rebranded to reflect the new ownership structure and store design. By the end of 2013, the additional Sisli stores will see Magrabi's retail network expand to over 200 outlets across ten countries.  

The chain is well known for its selection of the world's finest prescription spectacles and sunglasses from brands including Chanel, Bvlgari, Burberry, Tom Ford, Italia Independent, Dolce & Gabbana, Tiffany and Ray-Ban, as well as exclusive brands such as Sama and Tresor.
