Leanpath Surpasses 123 Pledge, Prevents 65 Million Meals from Going to Waste

LONDON, Sept. 22, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Leanpath, the global leader in food waste management for foodservice and hospitality, announced today during Climate Week that it has surpassed its ambitious pledge to prevent the equivalent of 50 million meals from going to waste by the end of 2025. Leanpath has prevented the equivalent of more than 65 million meals from being wasted in the last 2 years alone.

In 2022, Leanpath joined organizations from around the world in the 123 Pledge, to accelerate global efforts in food waste reduction in line with the United Nations' Sustainability Goal 12.3 to cut food waste in half by 2030. As part of this commitment, Leanpath set a bold target of preventing 50 million meals' worth of food waste by the end of 2025.
