LeapFrog Partners With Cartoon Network Enterprises To Bring Kid-Favorite Animated Shows To Award-Winning Educational Entertainment Platforms

Episodes of the groundbreaking series "The Amazing World of Gumball" are now available for purchase in the "Just for Fun" section of the LeapFrog App Center for the #1 kids' learning tablets, LeapPad1™ and LeapPad2™, and best learning video game systems, Leapster Explorer™ and LeapsterGS™. Episodes of the classic, enduring series "The Powerpuff Girls" will be available in early 2013 for purchase through the LeapFrog App Center.

Episodes from "The Powerpuff Girls" series will be available in early 2013.

"The Amazing World of Gumball" is an animated sit-com following the misadventures of Gumball and his family in the weird and wonderful town of Elmore. It is a visually groundbreaking comedy series from Cartoon Network Europe that mixes 2D and 3D animation with a live action world. Set in a recognizable small town setting, the cast of colorful characters includes a banana, a T-Rex and a cheerleading peanut.  The comedy series has garnered an impressive roster of awards including BAFTA, Annecy and ASIFA Hollywood Annie awards among others.

"The Powerpuff Girls" follows the adventures of three super-powered sisters—Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup—who frequently ask to be excused from school so they can save the world. Created accidentally through an experiment by the benevolent Professor Utonium, the sugar-coated superheroes are united in their life missions which typically alternates between delivering justice to all bad guys and skipping rope. Honored with four Primetime Emmy nominations for "Outstanding Animated Program (One Hour or Less)," "The Powerpuff Girls" also received two Juried Primetime Emmy Awards for art direction and individual achievement in animation.
