LeapFrog Partners With Little Pim To Bring Foreign Language Learning To The Award-Winning LeapPad™

EMERYVILLE, Calif., May 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE:LF), a leader in educational entertainment, and Little Pim, the award-winning foreign language learning program for children, today announced a partnership to bring Little Pim content to LeapFrog's LeapPad. Content will be available for purchase through the LeapFrog App Center in June.

LeapFrog and Little Pim both recognize the importance of encouraging children to discover new languages at an early age while they gain knowledge and understanding of cultures around the world. This unique partnership will be the first time LeapFrog brings language learning to its App Center. Little Pim content features a proprietary Entertainment Immersion Method®, which combines animation with real kids to teach simple words and phrases for everyday activities. Little Pim Spanish, English, Chinese and French language videos will be the first to launch in the LeapFrog App Center and be available for LeapPad just in time for summer.

Little Pim video episodes will be available for purchase (MSRP $10, for children 3 years and up) in the LeapFrog App Center, starting June 2012. The LeapFrog App Center can be accessed through the LeapFrog Connect Application for LeapPad and Leapster Explorer platforms.  LeapPad (MSRP $99.99, for children ages 4-9) and Leapster Explorer (MSRP $59.99, for children ages 4-9) are currently available at major retail locations and at www.leapfrog.com.
