Lee Tran & Liang (LTL) Welcomes New Partner

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Lee Tran & Liang ("LTL") is proud to welcome Steven Gonzalez as its newest partner.  He will serve as head of LTL's employment litigation practice group and will be based in the firm's Los Angeles office. 

Steve practiced for fifteen years at Perkins Coie LLP, focusing on employment litigation throughout that time. Steve's extensive experience includes all aspects of employment matters, including class actions.  In addition to defending employers against claims involving wrongful termination, discrimination, defamation, breach of contract, and other employment claims, Steve has represented employers in numerous wage and hour class actions throughout California in matters involving alleged misclassification, unpaid overtime, unpaid rest and meal breaks, and related claims.  He has represented well-known industry leaders including Smart & Final, Safeco Corporation., and Shurgard Storage Centers.

In addition to handling litigation, a substantial part of Steve's practice has consisted of representing and counseling clients with all types of employee and human resources matters. For the past several years, he served as the primary employment law "go-to" for Perkins Coie's Silicon Valley office, leading him to work with numerous start-up clients as well as established high-tech companies. 
 
Steve earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School in 1997, and his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1992.  He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts throughout California.
