MIDLAND, Texas, April 5, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Legacy Reserves Inc. ("Legacy" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: LGCY) today confirmed that Baines Creek Partners, L.P. ("Baines Creek"), which previously disclosed beneficial ownership of approximately 23.5% of the outstanding shares of Legacy common stock, delivered a notice of nomination for three director candidates to stand for election at the Company's 2019 Annual Meeting of Stockholders.

Legacy issued the following statement:

Members of the Legacy Board and management team have had multiple discussions with Baines Creek regarding its investment in the Company, and we remain open to continued engagement with Baines Creek and to working toward reaching an outcome that is in the best interest of all our stakeholders.

The Legacy Board and its Nominating and Governance Committee will review and consider Baines Creek's notice of nomination.
