Legal & General Investment Management America Hires Liability Driven Investment Expert From UBS

CHICAGO, April 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Legal & General Investment Management America is pleased to announce the appointment of Aaron Meder to the newly created position of Head of US Pension Solutions.  Based in the firm's US headquarters in Chicago, Aaron will build out and lead a team responsible for the company's construction and management of customized investment solutions, including liability driven investments (LDI), for US pension clients.

Aaron, who will start May 25, will report to Mark Zinkula, CEO of Legal & General Investment Management America.

Aaron joins Legal & General Investment Management America from UBS Global Asset Management, where he served as Managing Director, Head of Asset-Liability Investment Solutions, Americas.  At UBS, he was a member of the Global Investment Solutions Group, responsible for $160 billion in global multi-asset, currency and long/short strategies. He also led the US Pension Advisory Group and the Asset-Liability Investment Committee which manages custom multi-asset investment solutions relative to client liability profiles. Prior to UBS, Aaron worked at Towers Perrin and Watson Wyatt Worldwide.  He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), as well as a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and an Enrolled Actuary (EA).
