California is home to about 12 percent of Americans, and full legalization of cannabis in the state has been a major milestone for this young, still devolving industry. California will start issuing licenses in 2018, as a result analysts and researches have started to look into the potential of the market in the near future. GW also announced new Epidiolex positive phase 3 data in Dravet Syndrome and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. "This is the pivotal evidence that the FDA will need in order to approve the drug. It is a potential breakthrough in these types of epilepsy that are the hardest to treat," said Chief Executive Officer Justin Glover.
