SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif., Nov. 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Struggling through a custody battle against an individual with Narcissistic Personality Disorder can have dire effects on one's mental, spiritual and physical wellbeing. While there are many books, online resources and support groups for victims of narcissistic abuse, The Lemonade Power Retreat is the only program of its kind where attendees come together for a full weekend of camaraderie, laughter, support, validation, and healing. The Lemonade Power Retreat is led by Tina Swithin, Author of "Divorcing a Narcissist" and "The Narc Decoder: Understanding the Language of the Narcissist."

"Each of us left with a long-awaited sense of peace and renewal. As with any trauma in life, unless someone has actually experienced it, the people around them just don't get it. Each of us who attended were victims of either emotional, physical, sexual or financial abuse. Each of us could relate to something in everyone's journey. The camaraderie we shared in a very short time period of time created a very strong bond among us. When we left the retreat, each of us was stronger and better equipped to deal with what our ex-narcissists would be throwing our way in only a matter of time. For me, the nasty emails came within a couple of days and all I could do was laugh. The retreat confirmed that these soulless people should only have as much power over us as we allow. So much gratitude and blessings to Tina, for bringing us all together to grow stronger." – L.P., Attendee of the Lemonade Power Retreat (2015)
Previous retreats have been held in San Luis Obispo County, California, however, Tina Swithin recently announced an East Coast retreat and a West Coast retreat for 2017. The retreats are limited to groups of 18 and have sold out in 2015 and 2016.
- Leyden, Massachusetts: April 21-23, 2017

Tina Swithin explains, "I have dedicated my life to providing resources and support to survivors of narcissistic abuse through my books, coaching services and advocacy in the family court system. The Lemonade Power Retreat is where my heart is – these women are amazing and the connections that are formed during the retreats will last a lifetime. We are taking lemons and making lemonade – together."
Bio: Tina Swithin survived a Category Five Divorce Hurricane while acting as her own attorney in a custody battle that turned her family's life upside down. While divorces are never easy, Tina quickly learned that a divorce involving an individual with Narcissistic Personality Disorder takes the term, "high-conflict" to a level that few can comprehend. In an effort to articulate what was happening in her life and custody battle, Tina took shelter from the storm by chronicling her journey in her (now) internationally recognized blog, "One Mom's Battle." Tina's battle came to an end in October 2014 when she prevailed and the courts revoked all visits and contact with her ex-husband.
