PORTLAND, Ore., Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Graphis, the international journal of visual communication, has recognized Leopold Ketel & Partners with two gold awards in the advertising category for its Tillamook Cheese creative work.
In competition with much larger agencies from across the globe, LKP walked away with the gold for designing the exterior of Tillamook Cheese trucks to appear as though one could peer inside to see three Baby Loaf products.
LKP's team included Andrew Reed, creative director, Mike Houston, copywriter and Austin Hilde, art director. The team created the truck designs as part of a larger campaign for one of Tillamook's most popular products—the 2 lb. Baby Loaf. The trucks now surprise and delight many of Tillamook's fans who see them traveling down the highway.
Reed said his team enjoyed working with the Tillamook marketing team and with Dave Emmite, a Portland-area photographer who built a miniature set to resemble the interior of a Tillamook truck. Shoelaces became the "straps" to hold the cheese while expert lighting simulated the truck's interior.
