CUPERTINO, Calif., Feb. 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- As the "creepy" Facebook breakup app is making big headlines in the news, the Cupertino-based company Digi-Q, Inc. has a less creepy solution for those who like to keep tabs on their friends on Facebook. "Unfriend Watch" (http://UnfriendWatch.com) is the new Android app, available at the Android Marketplace, that's offering a service that will let you know when you have been unfriended on Facebook.
The app is available for $2.99, but has a free version as well. Those who download the full version will be notified via their phone notification message that they've lost a friend on Facebook. They will also be able to see who it is, as well as browse that person's profile on Facebook.
"It's kind of a 'dis' nowadays to unfriend someone. So, naturally most people want to know when that happens to them," explains the app creator Alex Guberman. "When you download our app you will be able to find out when you lose a friend on Facebook right away."
