Disney Interactive's new video game platform, which will be available on the Xbox 360^™ game and entertainment system, the PlayStation^®3 computer entertainment system, Nintendo 3DS, Wii^™, Wii^™ U and iPad, integrates collectible figures featuring beloved characters from The Walt Disney Company and Pixar Animation Studios with an immersive video game experience that allows the characters to come to life and interact together – for the first time ever. In a way that only Disney can, each Disney Infinity character figure will come to life and play together in a virtual "Toy Box." The game also includes a story-driven experience, "Play Set," which allows players to solve challenging puzzles, battle enemies and explore iconic locations from famous Disney properties. In "Toy Box" mode, players can build and customize their own unique virtual world using their favorite characters, vehicles, settings and accessories.

Disney Infinity is launching with an initial line of 18 collectible interactive figures and 21 Power Discs, including those found only at Toys"R"Us. To help fans build their Disney Infinity collections, Toys"R"Us will offer the largest assortment of Disney Infinity products available.

Toys"R"Us will be the only place Disney Infinity fans can find characters from the Infinite Crystal Series^™, an assortment of exclusive, collectible figures that have enhanced in-game abilities. With the purchase of a figure from the Infinite Crystal Series^™, users can not only earn bonus experience points and health to give their characters an extra edge and more play time, but also access a special in-game area to display their crystal figures. Additionally, Toys"R"Us is the only retailer that will offer exclusive Power Discs, which when placed on the Disney Infinity base, unlock unique in-game powers, vehicles, gadgets and more.

The following are two Disney Infinity items that will be available only at Toys"R"Us stores in the U.S. and Toysrus.com at launch, beginning Sunday, August 18:

Lightning McQueen Infinite Crystal Series^™ figure

Whatever the task, Lightning McQueen is quick to react! Whether he's jumping over canyons or racing across a desert, nothing slows him down. This exclusive crystal figure allows players to earn bonus points and access special, unique in-game abilities, making Lightning McQueen stand out from the rest! No batteries required. Ages 6 years and up.

Mike's Car Power Disc

Mike Wazowski from Monsters Inc. can cruise through the worlds of Disney Infinity with the help of Mike's Car Power Disc. Players can use the disc to spawn Mike's car featured in Monsters Inc., giving him a unique edge over other characters in the game. No batteries required. Ages 6 years and up.

Additional Infinite Crystal Series^™ figures, as well as new, exclusive Power Discs, will be announced as they are made available through the company's ongoing marketing efforts, including on the company's Toys"R"Us Facebook page at Facebook.com/Toysrus, through 2014.

Toys"R"Us Stores Nationwide to Open Early on Launch Day

On Sunday, August 18, Toys"R"Us stores nationwide will open one hour early at 8am to accommodate fans excited to get their hands on the brand-new game, figures and accessories.^* For those interested in taking their Disney Infinity experience to the next level with characters that can't be found anywhere else, Toys"R"Us will be the must-stop destination on Sunday morning.

Also, at midnight on Sunday, August 18, parents will be able to browse and shop all Disney Infinity products – including exclusive items – online at Toysrus.com/DisneyInfinity. Orders can be placed for pickup in-store on Sunday, ensuring customers are able to get the items they want on launch day.

Toys"R"Us to Showcase Disney Infinity Through Interactive Displays, Shops and Events

All Toys"R"Us stores nationwide will feature an interactive display that allows kids to see and experience the exciting world of Disney Infinity up close. Starting in September, customers will also find dedicated Disney Infinity feature shops at the front of all Toys"R"Us stores across the country, featuring a combination of figures, Power Discs, accessories and more.

Additionally, on Saturday, September 7, all Toys"R"Us stores nationwide will host a Disney Infinity Power Disc Trade event from 12 noon to 2pm, giving kids the opportunity to exchange their own Disney Infinity Power Discs with other fans and receive special offers on Disney and Disney Infinity products.
