Dear Congresswoman Dahlkemper,

I received your most recent political mailer: Making Government Tighten Its Belt

With all due respect I find it ironic, if not insulting, for you to make the bold statement that:   "Kathy Dahlkemper is leading the fight to cut spending overall and spend smarter when we must."

Give me a break!  You have voted for every single budget busting, bureaucratic nightmare piece of legislation that Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Obama have sent down the pipe!

Oh yes, you managed to reduce your Congressional office spending some $90,000 and voted against the last two pay raises.  Big deal...That's nothing compared to your votes for all stimulus packages and the bureaucratic nightmare health care boondoggle, the costs of which are yet to be determined.

If you are truly going to cut government spending, then vote NO on the real issues!

Stand up to Pelosi and Obama, and their redistribution schemes of taking anything anyone has left.

But please, Congresswoman, do not send me anymore pamphlets telling me how you are "leading the fight to cut government spending".   That's an insult to our intelligence…

Unless, of course, you will stand up and vote against these huge spending bills and bring some sanity and fiscal restraint to the federal government.
