SAN FRANCISCO, April 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- LEVEL Studios, a digital marketing agency within the Razorfish Global network, today announced it has hired Michael Phillips as senior vice president of technology and innovation, a new position. Phillips will report directly to LEVEL's Chief Executive Officer Dan Connolly and will lead the agency's new San Francisco office. The office, located at 100 California Street, will support the agency's rapid expansion, positioning itself for sustainable, long-term growth.
In this new role, Phillips will serve as a member of the agency's executive leadership team and will be tasked with developing new, innovative technology solutions while providing strategic oversight to the technology practice. He comes to LEVEL most recently from Eleven, Inc., where he led the agency's digital production and creative technology department. Prior to his time at Eleven, Phillips built and led the BETA Group at Goodby Silverstein & Partners, the agency's creative technology and digital innovation team.
With a career spanning nearly two decades, Phillips has a strong track record developing innovative digital marketing initiatives and has deep experience with responsive web design and mobile app technologies, eCommerce, analytics and more. He is a well-known thought leader in the industry, has spoken at SXSW, and served as a Webby and Digiday awards judge. Over the course of his career Michael has worked with several influential brands including Virgin America, Google, Adobe, TD Ameritrade, ARIA Resorts & Casino, Nintendo, Sprint and Elizabeth Arden. His work has won recognition from the ADDYs, the FWA, the National Retail Federation, SXSW and the Webby Awards.

The agency plans to hire additional roles out of this location within the next six months to support is growing client roster.
