LG Electronics 'Cleans Up' at The 25th Film Independent Spirit Awards Blue Carpet Ceremony

LOS ANGELES, March 6 /PRNewswire/ -- LG Electronics and Hollywood celebrities including Gabourey Sidibe, Robert Duvall, Jeff Bridges, Jodie Foster and Maggie Gyllenhaal helped to clean up the Blue Carpet and support Project:Involve, Film Independent's signature diversity program, at The 25th Film Independent Spirit Awards on Friday, March 5.

Oscar-nominated actress Taraji P. Henson and LG Electronics' new high-performance Kompressor® Vacuums worked overtime during the Opening Ceremony to pick up sand from last year's Santa Monica beach location, making the Blue Carpet sparkle at the new downtown LA venue for this year's Spirit Awards.  This also was not your ordinary Blue Carpet.  For every celebrity presenter, performer and nominee who took on the "charitable chore" of vacuuming the Blue Carpet during the Live Arrivals Show, LG Electronics made an additional donation to Project:Involve.
