Libbey Inc. Expands Premium Offerings For U.S. Foodservice Through Agreement With Spiegelau and Nachtmann

TOLEDO, Ohio, Dec. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Libbey Inc. (NYSE MKT: LBY) and the European-based companies Spiegelau and Nachtmann have announced today an agreement in which Libbey will become the exclusive distributor of Spiegelau and Nachtmann glassware and serveware products to the U.S. foodservice industry, effective February 1, 2013.

Through this exclusive agreement, Libbey Inc. - the leading supplier of tableware to the U.S. foodservice industry, including glassware dinnerware and flatware products - will be offering new premium brand glassware choices for U.S. foodservice customers.   Considered the "The Class of Glass," Spiegelau is known for its fine stemware and other premium drinkware assortments.  Nachtmann offers a variety of upscale serveware, decorative products, stemware and drinkware for finer dining establishments.
