Liberty Roofing Center Announces Sale of Troy Ohio Branch to Richards Building Supply Company

NEW KENSINGTON, PA, Jan. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ - Liberty Roofing Center announced the sale of its Troy, Ohio branch to Chicago-based Richards Building Supply.  The deal closed on December 31^st of 2011.

"This is a win-win situation for both companies," stated Liberty Roofing President David Domino.  "For Liberty, this allows us to focus upon our company's geographic base in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Virginia. At the same time, it provides an opportunity for us to find our Troy branch employees a new home with a solid and successful business like Richards."

Richards indicates that it intends to continue to operate the branch under its own banner at the same site.  The company has expressed an interest in retaining the staff at the location.
