Liberty Title Donates and Competes in Golf Tournament Fundraiser for Veterans
The title company has sponsored the Low VA Rates annual charity golf tournament for seven years.
SALT LAKE CITY, July 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Earlier this month, Liberty Title Company, LLC, participated in the 7th annual Low VA Rates charity golf tournament at Fox Hollow Golf Course. In an effort to raise money for U.S. veterans, the company sponsored the event and donated high-ticket items for prizes in its 7th year of participation.

"We always welcome the opportunity to participate in this annual golf tournament," said Sally Farrar, CEO of Liberty Title. "We're committed to helping the veteran community in any way we can, and this is just one of the many ways we do so."
Low VA Rates organized the golf tournament to raise money for its donor-advised fund, which will go to a variety of veteran-related charities over the next year. This year Low VA Rates was able to raise roughly $3,000.
"This is our 7th annual charity golf tournament, and Liberty Title has been one of our biggest sponsors every year," said Craig Walton, HR and PR manager at Low VA Rates. "They have donated thousands of dollars to help military families, and we are truly grateful for their charitable giving."
Liberty Title purchased four foursome teams for the competition, and while none of them placed in the tournament; their teams said it was a fun experience that they look forward to every year.
