LiDestri Food and Beverage Announces Leadership Transition

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Feb. 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- LiDestri Food and Beverage President and CEO Giovanni LiDestri is delighted to announce that, effective July 23, 2016, he will be transferring responsibilities for day-to-day company operations to sibling team Stefani and John C. LiDestri, who will serve as co-presidents under his active direction. Giovanni will continue serving as CEO for the foreseeable future.

"As we approach the 42nd year of our company and I celebrate my 70th birthday in July, I am very grateful the company I have been privileged to help build will remain not only in the hands of family but in the hands of two very experienced professionals who share the passion, values and vision that has guided our company since its inception," said Giovanni.

Following the transition, Stefani will assume responsibility for Marketing, Human Resources, Information Technology and Research & Development; John will oversee Supply Chain and Sales; and Giovanni will continue to lead Operations and Finance.

John, whose work at National Food involves world wide sourcing and sales of food ingredients for US and Global food and beverage companies, said, "I am excited about the synergies this new role will bring for LiDestri and our customers.
