GrowUpLearning Helps Kids' Development

RESTON Va., Nov. 22, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- "The Balancing Act," a program for women on Lifetime Cable Television, will feature a story about how parents can help their young children grow -- physically, mentally, and socially -- through play. The program will air on Lifetime on Tuesday, November 30 from 7:00-8:00 a.m., and the segment focuses on GrowUpLearning (www.GrowUpLearning.com), a nonprofit web-based service for parents.

"The Balancing Act" describes itself as "America's only one hour morning show that's about women, for women, and trusted by women." It features interviews with experts in many fields, including education, health, and finances. The GrowUpLearning segment on November 30 shows easy ways parents can help their children learn. The program's hosts interview Susan Cosgrove, GrowUpLearning's Director of Communications, and Melissa Rivers, weekly blogger on GrowUpLearning.com and mother of a four-year-old son.
