Lindsay's Elecsys Division Receives ISO 9001:2015 Certification with No Findings or Observations

OLATHE, Kan., July 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Lindsay Corporation (NYSE: LNN), a leading global manufacturer and distributor of irrigation and infrastructure equipment and technology, announced its Elecsys division received the coveted ISO 9001:2015 certification, with No Findings and No Observations. Elecsys is a provider of industrial machine-to-machine (M2M) communication technology solutions, data acquisition systems, and custom electronic equipment for critical industrial applications.

ISO 9001:2015 is a quality management system standard of efficiency and customer satisfaction, which sets a higher level of specifications to be met beyond the previous standard, ISO 9001:2008. To achieve certification, a rigorous and comprehensive company-wide audit is performed by a recognized certification agency. Elecsys' audit was performed by National Quality Assurance (NQA).

"This audit was especially meaningful as it involved the transition to the new and more robust ISO 9001:2015 Standard," said Terry Pickens, director of quality management at Elecsys. "This is the third year in a row that Elecsys passed the NQA audit with No Findings and No Observations, which is a remarkable achievement for any company."

The NQA audit looks at all departments to determine that processes are in place and are understood throughout the organization. The recent NQA audit results validate Elecsys' quality and efficiency standards applicable to the following: design, manufacture and support of electronic and electromechanical equipment and subassemblies, liquid crystal displays, rugged mobile computing systems, and wireless remote monitoring solutions and related products.

"The effort our team put into attaining the ISO 9001:2015 certification relays to our customers and prospects how efficiently we run our business," said Mike Morgan, president of Elecsys. "It supports our goal of customer-first innovation, and it differentiates us in the marketplaces in which we compete."

Every Elecsys product is engineered and manufactured in the USA at its state-of-the-art design and production facilities in Olathe, Kansas. With more than 30 in-house engineers and strict adherence to the ISO 9001-registered processes, Elecsys ensures delivery of high-quality, reliable electronic products and user-friendly data management systems.
