Lingea Refined its Multi Dictionary Website dict.com with New Enriching Functionalities

Even though there are a great number of online dictionaries available, they are not all of the same quality. Lingea is an innovative technology company that specializes in world languages and launched their own multi-lingual website http://www.dict.com. Apart from a two-way dictionary, it also offers other functionalities and additional information, such as full text and morphological search, contextual usage, pronunciation or virtual keyboard for special characters. It currently offers 30 world languages, enough for making up to 900 combinations of your own choice. To get the information in your mother tongue, the portal allows you to localize each of the languages.  Beside the translation of the particular word, the portal also provides you with its contextual usage, morphology, and you can even listen to the word's pronunciation. Moreover, the main languages come with separate grammatical and phrase book sections.

There are many more features to help you find correct translation. Words can be typed in any morphological form. They are searched for on either side of the dictionary, i.e. both in examples and translations. If they are typed without diacritics or mistyped, the dictionary comes up with several close words to choose the correct one. Using the arrows, you can leaf through the dictionary in alphabetical order, search for words of similar origin or specify the context. In a similar way you can browse the history of searched words.

Thanks to the responsive web design (RWD), the dictionaries can be viewed on many different devices, from desktop computer monitors, notebooks and tablets to mobile phones.
